Run like a team of six. Stay a team of one.
Claude, Cowork and Manus are three different tools that look like the same tool. Most solo operators are using the wrong one for the job — and paying for the privilege. In 45 minutes we’ll sort out which does what, build a working setup on screen, and put real numbers on what it costs.
You don’t have an AI problem. You have a job-assignment problem.
Everyone tells you to “use AI.” Nobody tells you which one, for what. So you end up doing agency-grade work in a chat window, asking a chat window to do agent work, or paying for three subscriptions that overlap on the one thing you actually needed.
It’s the same mistake as hiring three people with the same skill set and no one to run the office. Here’s the actual division of labor:
Claude Chat
Drafting, reasoning, second opinions, hard conversations you need to rehearse. Fast, conversational, forgets when you close it. Wrong tool for anything that has to happen on a schedule.
Claude Cowork
Works your actual files, inbox and calendar. Runs on a schedule without you. This is the one that behaves like staff rather than a search box — and the one almost nobody has set up.
Manus
Long autonomous jobs you hand off and walk away from. Credit-metered, so it rewards big well-specified tasks and punishes fiddling. Wrong tool for your daily follow-up.
Your systems and your loan file are the same problem.
Ron spends his days inside the finances of self-employed people — the borrowers a retail bank hands back. After enough of those files, a pattern gets hard to miss. The business is doing fine. But nothing is documented, nothing is repeatable, and the tax return tells a story with almost no relationship to what the person actually earns.
Those look like two separate problems. They are one problem, showing up in two places. Tighten the operations and you get more business this quarter and a file that can be underwritten next year. Leave them loose and you are working harder for less, then explaining the shortfall to an underwriter.
The work that wins you clients and the work that gets you approved are the same work.
That is the whole series. Ron frames what it means for your money. A guest who runs something shows the system. You ask questions and leave with something you can build.
Forty-five minutes, built on screen, nothing hypothetical.
Which tool for which job
A straight decision rule you can apply the same afternoon. No chart-for-the-sake-of-a-chart — the three real questions that tell you where a task belongs.
Building your AI squad With Amara
One person, assigned roles. Amara walks through the back office she actually runs — what handles follow-up, what handles the projects, what handles the paperwork, and what stays human because it always should. This is the part that turns tools into an org chart.
Getting set up, live
Connecting your mail, calendar and files, then customizing it to your voice and your business instead of accepting the generic version. Watch it done once and you can repeat it.
Squad vs. funnel — where each one wins
A funnel is a machine for strangers. A squad is leverage on the relationships you already have. Most solo operators buy the funnel first and wonder why it’s quiet. We’ll cover which problem you actually have.
What it really costs With Ron
Published pricing across all three tools, what each tier actually gets you, and where the money is wasted. Then the part nobody covers: what tighter books and documented income do for you when it’s time to borrow.
People with no one to delegate to.
Realtors
Follow-up that happens whether or not you remembered, and a database that reactivates itself while you’re at a showing.
Financial planners
Prep, review cadence and client comms handled without adding a paraplanner — and without putting client data anywhere it shouldn’t be.
Self-employed & business owners
A real back office without a real payroll. Admin, invoicing chase, content and the monthly reporting you keep pushing to next week.
That’s the honest range across all three tools, and where you land inside it depends almost entirely on choices you can only make once you understand what each tool is for. Most solo operators need far less than they’re told, and spend it in the wrong place.
We’ll walk the published tiers, name what each one actually unlocks, and show you the setup we’d build on the smallest plan that works. No affiliate links, nothing to buy from us.
One person who reads the numbers. One who builds the machine.
Ron Berg
Mortgage broker · The Berg Group, powered by C2 Financial
Ron’s practice is built around one kind of file: the borrower a retail bank declines. Self-employed and 1099 earners, bank-statement and P&L income, DSCR investors, jumbo and super-jumbo, asset-rich borrowers whose tax returns understate them, trust and entity vesting, recent credit events.
Which means he spends his week looking at how self-employed people actually run their businesses — and at what it costs them when the paperwork can’t keep up. He runs his own practice on the systems in this session, because the alternative was hiring for work that shouldn’t need a person.

Amara Berg
Founder, Big Returns, Inc. · management & client relationships
Amara runs the operations side. Several multimillion-dollar renovation projects across San Diego County at any given time, plus Big Returns, Inc., her own property management company — all of it coordinated by a small team and a lot of built systems.
She came to that from years as a top-producing agent in production real estate, first with Prudential and then Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. So she has done the job most of this audience is doing now, and then went and built the back office that made the next thing possible. That’s what she’s here to show — not to sell you anything, and not to compete for your clients.
